Welcome Christmas!Far more presents than I expected (given to the children), but is there reason to be concerned? Do we worry that we have so much water or so much fresh air. No, because it is just there..free. "STUFF" is cheap and available and it appears to make us all pleased to have it. It is our cultural air.
It is fun! Summer's friend beside her in the picture knows its fun. Merry Christmas!

Thoughts on the Celebration of Christ while sipping eggnog from a carton at the Walmart McDonalds – December 2005 too!
Steel and Pipe
Vented air and tile
Blowers whisper rasping
Distant announcers bellow
Interrupted pop singers yearn to themselves.
Large people fill aisles
which could hold more of the smaller kind.
Mart Carts whine by
burdened by the larger but mobile seated
“Make it a diet rootbeer!”
Echoey under brilliant light and more brilliant marketing
Wasteland? Waning time? Freedom? “Free” market
Still, tall white men hear the murmur of the little ones,
“She basically takes half of my hour.”
“Why did she get off early?” says she. Who?” say they.
Indentured to the minute hand.
More large people grazing and thoughtful people…
The flower-scented soap brick or the tub of margarine?
It really is quite important -- as important as life…
“God’s in it all!” say they.
“God bless America!”
“Who?” say they …oh yeah… our Troops.
