We went to Landisville Farm Museum today. Traditional crafts were reportedly showcased today although there weren't many craftpersons or visitors. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable visit. The hurricane dropped a large white pine on the back of one of the old brick house crushing into the slate roof.
We enjoyed the Clydesdale pulled cart ride around the park. We went ahead and purchased the annual pass (50) as a one-time entrance is 20 now and 28 after the first of the year as Colin moves beyond magic 5.
Cleaned up the yard and mowed. We all worked the little entrance bed at Eshleman Elementary and planted some flowers.
Baths and bed as tommorrow we head to Mom's church and their churches dinner for those married more than 50 years.

This morning Sheri and children went to the women's meeting at Willow St Mennonite. When they returned I went to Elkton courthouse for Savin land records.
Hurricane is blustering and MD is all taped up but all is normal in Lancaster.
I returned at 5pm for supper. Clodie from Albania came to dinner. She knows Alma and others at LCC. After dinner Colin took us to his school for Meet the Teacher day. It was well attended. He, Summer and Sheri had gone earlier while I was away.
Hurricane reportedly is on its way in arriving tonight. We will see. I will be ready with a sum-pump.
Visas for Moldova arrived on Tuesday from Embassy. I guess with that in hand Douglas and I are ready to leave on Sept 24 for the 10 day trip. We will be staying at the college in Vienna, Austria two nights where Daryl Culp is now teaching (formerly of LCC).
Kendall Keeler, asst pastor from Mt. Vernon is bringing a rolltop desk today to us. It is a gift one of many we have received since we returned.
